Legal Information

Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions explain the rules that apply when you browse ZJ Eyewear, place an order or purchase products through our website. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.

i

Your Purchase, Clearly Explained

By placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, together with the relevant product information and applicable policies displayed on our website. Nothing in these terms affects any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

01

About ZJ Eyewear

ZJ Eyewear is an online retail brand offering eyewear products, including non-prescription blue-light glasses and sunglasses for everyday wear, screen use and outdoor activities.

References to “we”, “us” and “our” in these terms mean the business operating the ZJ Eyewear website. References to “you” and “your” mean the person browsing the website or purchasing our products.

Our products, descriptions, prices and availability are presented on the website. We may update product information, website content or these terms when necessary, subject to applicable law and any terms already applying to an existing order.

02

Eligibility and Website Use

By using this website, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a binding purchase agreement or are using the website with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian where required.

You agree not to:

  • Use the website for unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purposes.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its systems or another customer’s information.
  • Introduce malicious software or interfere with the normal operation of the website.
  • Copy, reproduce or commercially exploit website content without permission, except where permitted by law.
  • Submit information that is knowingly false or use payment details without proper authorisation.

We may take reasonable steps to protect the website, our customers and our business if we identify misuse or suspicious activity.

03

Product Information

We aim to present product descriptions, images, colours, dimensions and other details as accurately as reasonably possible. However, the appearance of a product may vary slightly depending on lighting, photography, screen settings or manufacturing tolerances.

Please review the product description, available options and any relevant specifications before placing an order. If you are unsure whether a particular product meets your requirements, contact us before purchasing.

Our eyewear is sold as non-prescription fashion or functional eyewear unless a product page expressly states otherwise. Blue-light glasses and sunglasses are not a substitute for professional eye care, a prescribed vision correction product or medical advice.

Do not assume that sunglasses provide a particular level of ultraviolet protection, polarisation or other technical performance unless the relevant product listing explicitly confirms that feature. Please refer to the individual product information for the specifications applicable to your chosen item.

Product images and descriptions do not limit your statutory rights if goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet the requirements of applicable consumer law.

04

Prices and Payment

Product prices are displayed on the relevant product pages and at checkout. The price payable for your order will be shown before you confirm your purchase.

Any applicable delivery charges or other mandatory charges will be displayed before you place your order. Where free delivery is advertised as applying to your order, the relevant delivery charge will be shown as £0 at checkout.

We take reasonable care to ensure that prices are accurate. If a genuine pricing error is identified, we will contact you and explain the available options before proceeding with the affected order. We will not knowingly charge you an incorrect price without giving you an appropriate opportunity to resolve the issue.

Payment must be authorised through the payment methods offered at checkout. You must provide accurate billing and payment information and be authorised to use the selected payment method.

Your order may not be processed if payment is declined, cannot be verified or is reasonably suspected to be unauthorised. If payment has been taken for an order that we subsequently cannot fulfil, we will arrange an appropriate refund.

05

Orders and Contract Formation

When you submit an order through the website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products under these Terms & Conditions.

An automated order confirmation acknowledges that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted. The point at which a binding contract is formed will be communicated through our order process or subsequent confirmation.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason, including product unavailability, a material listing or pricing error, suspected payment fraud or an inability to verify essential order information.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will arrange a refund of the amount paid for the cancelled order. This does not affect any additional rights you may have under applicable law.

Please check your delivery address, contact details and selected products carefully before submitting your order. If you identify an error after ordering, contact us promptly. We will try to assist, but changes may not be possible once an order has entered processing or dispatch.

06

Delivery

Delivery arrangements, estimated processing times and delivery expectations are explained in our Delivery Policy. Please read that policy alongside these terms before placing an order.

Delivery estimates are provided as a guide rather than a guarantee unless a specific delivery commitment has been expressly agreed. Actual delivery times may be affected by carrier operations, public holidays, severe weather, address issues or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. If a parcel cannot be delivered because the address provided is incorrect or incomplete, contact us so that we can review the available options.

If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery period, or arrives damaged or incomplete, please contact us. We will review the matter and explain the appropriate next steps.

Nothing in this section removes our obligations regarding delivery within the period agreed with you or within any applicable statutory deadline.

07

Cancellation, Returns and Refunds

Our Cancellation and Refund arrangements are explained in our Refund Policy, which should be read together with these terms.

For most online purchases made by UK consumers, you generally have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods, subject to the applicable legal conditions and exceptions.

Where you cancel under the applicable consumer cancellation rules, you must notify us within the relevant cancellation period and return the goods within the period required by law. The treatment of delivery charges, return postage and refund timing will follow our Refund Policy and applicable legislation.

If a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract, you may have additional rights under consumer law. Those rights are separate from any voluntary return arrangements we may offer.

Please consult our Refund Policy for instructions on requesting a return, the expected refund processing time and the arrangements for faulty or incorrect items.

08

Promotions and Offers

From time to time, we may make promotional offers, discounts or other special arrangements available through the website.

Any promotion will be subject to the conditions communicated with that offer, including applicable dates, product eligibility, redemption requirements and any stated restrictions.

Unless an offer expressly states otherwise, promotions cannot be exchanged for cash. We will not apply a promotional restriction in a way that removes a right you have under applicable law.

09

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the website’s branding, written content, graphics, photographs, page layouts and other materials are owned by or used under permission by the relevant rights holder.

You may access and use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish or commercially exploit website materials without prior permission, except where such use is permitted by law.

Product names, logos and third-party marks appearing on the website remain the property of their respective owners where applicable.

10

Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may use third-party services to support payment processing, delivery, website functionality, analytics or other operational activities. These services may be subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

Where the website contains links to external websites, those links are provided for convenience. We do not control all third-party content and are not responsible for external websites’ independent policies or availability.

The use of a third-party service does not remove any responsibility we have for fulfilling our own obligations to you under the purchase contract or applicable law.

11

Privacy and Cookies

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and use cookies and similar technologies as explained in our Cookie Policy.

Information supplied during browsing, checkout or customer support may be used where necessary to process orders, arrange delivery, respond to enquiries, manage returns, maintain website security and meet legal obligations.

Please read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for further details about how personal information and cookie preferences are handled.

12

Website Availability and Accuracy

We aim to keep the website available and its information accurate. However, uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, technical faults, security issues or circumstances beyond our reasonable control may occasionally affect access.

We may update, amend or remove website content, product listings or features when reasonably necessary. Any changes will not remove rights already acquired under a completed purchase contract or rights protected by law.

If you notice an error in a product listing, price or website function, please contact us so that we can investigate it.

13

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful. This includes liability that cannot legally be excluded for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and your statutory consumer rights.

We are responsible for providing goods that meet the requirements of the contract and applicable consumer legislation. If a product is faulty, misdescribed or otherwise fails to meet those requirements, your legal remedies remain available.

We are not responsible for losses arising solely from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, provided that this does not exclude any responsibility that the law requires us to retain.

Where you use the website for personal shopping, we will not exclude or restrict any liability to the extent that doing so would be prohibited by consumer protection law.

14

Events Beyond Our Control

We will not be treated as having breached these terms solely because performance is delayed or prevented by circumstances reasonably beyond our control, such as severe weather, transport disruption, major technical failures, industrial action or emergency restrictions.

Where such circumstances affect your order, we will take reasonable steps to keep you informed and explain any available options. This section does not remove any refund, cancellation or other right that applies to you under mandatory law.

15

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms & Conditions when necessary to reflect changes in our business, website functionality, products or legal obligations.

The version displayed on the website applies to your use of the website at the relevant time. For an existing order, the terms applicable when the contract was formed will generally continue to govern that order, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.

We encourage you to review this page periodically so that you remain familiar with the terms governing your use of the website.

16

Governing Law

These terms and any non-contractual obligations arising in connection with them are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence require otherwise.

If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory legal protections available in the country where you live. Nothing in these terms is intended to deprive you of protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
